So you've been invited to a holiday dinner! Now comes the big question...what should you bring? If you want to wow the table, may we suggest this amazing pecan pie! Full of warmth, comfort and delicious filling, this dessert will bring a smile to every guest this holiday season. Luckily, this relatively simple recipe comes together quickly – especially if you use a store bought crust (we won't tell). Get your brown sugar and maple syrup ready, it's time to bake with us!
INGREDIENTS
2 and 1/2 cups pecans(pecan halves)
4 large eggs
1 cup (about 8.5fl oz) maple syrup
1 cup packed light or dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon flour
Pre-made or your favorite pie crust recipe :)

RECIPE PREPARATION
The Filling:
Bring the syrup and brown sugar to a boil in a skillet. Add butter and let cool
Whisk the eggs until fluffy
Add the syrup, brown sugar and butter gradually to the eggs
Add pecans, cinnamon, flour and vanilla to the mixture
Pour into pie dough
Put into oven and bake for 45 minutes or until the top is lightly browned at 350 degrees
Remove pie from the oven and place on a wire rack to cool completely. The pie filling will settle as it cools.
