Summertime calls for adding a pop of color to your home. While Parachute offers an array of colors in our many designs, we are here to talk about one of our favorite colors: Clay.

This muted pink is a great place to start when beginning to introduce some fun, warm colors around the house. Clay pairs well with other balanced neutrals such as a warm gray, a creamy white, or a deep brown. Depending on your personal style, this shade is perfect for executing both a minimalist and maximalist look. Playing with color can be a daunting task, especially for those of us who are not interior designers, but we are here to show you that brightening up things in the home can be easy!

Refresh the Bedroom

Pop of color or monochrome? No matter what your style is, we want to help make your bed the center of attention. Paired with a creamy white duvet, this clay Percale Top Sheet will contrast perfectly, adding that desired wow factor.

If you want to make the leap and go for the monochromatic look, we have our whole linen bedding collection, including pillowcases, sheets, and a duvet, all in clay. If you decide to go all-in, we suggest adding a touch of greenery to your room – orange and green are complementary colors, sitting opposite each other on the color wheel.

Liven Up the Living Room

In a living room, the decor should be able to stand out while creating a cohesive and inviting space. Clay is the perfect neutral color to stay on the theme while standing out. If you are looking to add some color to your space but don’t know where to start, some throw pillows and blankets can add a pop of color. We suggest our Oversized Rib-Knit Throw in clay paired with neutral Boucle Pillow Covers.

If you’ve been inspired by recent summer sunsets and looking for a warmer color palette, try pairing the throw with pillow covers in ochre or terra

Brighten the Bathroom

Curating a bathroom color scheme can often be overlooked during the design process but let's face it, you spend a lot of time there. Give it a little love! When deciding on a bathroom color scheme it’s important to first determine if there is a focal point of the space you are looking to highlight, or if you want everything to blend smoothly.

If you veer toward a cool and clean design, our Fouta Stripe Towels will fit right in with your aesthetic. With sleek strips of clay and white, these are the perfect hint of color in any minimalist bathroom.

For a bathroom that lets the towels do the taking, try our clay Soft Rib Towels paired with our Soft Rib Tub Mat for a bold but polished look.
