Celebrity interior designer Jake Arnold recently showed us how to make the perfect bed. Now he's back to share a few of his favorite essentials from Parachute just in time for holiday shopping! From pillows to throws to our richest hues, Jake has put together his ultimate Parachute must-haves. And we can't lie...he has good taste! Watch and learn from the master on how to curate the ultimate Parachute home.

At Parachute, we love to play with different fabrics! How do you like to mix and match fabrics and textures?

Playing with texture is the most important element whether you are working with a neutral palette or using a lot of color. Using various textures to create a monochromatic look will always give the space depth & richness, which makes spaces feel elevated and dynamic. When too many of the same textures are used, a space can fall flat and be less interesting. A good way to start this texture play is with pillows or throw blankets on the bed or a couch.

You’re known for working with deep, rich colors. What’s your best advice for people who love neutrals but want to add more color to their space?

I would start with saturated colors as they are a bit more dull and compliment a neutral palette really well. Rusts, Nude Pinks, Dusty Blues, and Sage Greens are a great way to bring in subtle colors. For me they almost act as neutrals themselves and go well with creams, browns, taupes, and tans. I love using these hues as accents either in pillows, throw blankets, seat cushions, ottomans or in artwork.
