Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement that encourages people to do good to better their communities and the world. All acts of service are welcome today ranging from helping out a neighbor, making a donation or volunteering with an organization in need.
Home is a Human Right
As a home lifestyle brand, we understand the importance of having a place to call home. But 151,000 Californians are currently unhoused. Homelessness disproportionately affects Black Americans – while 6.5% of Californians identify as Black or African American, they account for nearly 40% of Californians experiencing homelessness.
What We’re Doing Today
This Giving Tuesday, we’re hoping to help our community by donating bedding to a few local organizations. We've partnered with two Southern California based groups working tirelessly to serve those in need.
Skid Row Housing Trust
The Skid Row Housing Trust provides permanent supportive housing so that people who have experienced homelessness, prolonged extreme poverty, poor health, disabilities, mental illness and/or addiction can lead safe, stable lives in wellness.
Linc Housing
Linc Housing's mission is to build communities and strengthen neighborhoods for people underserved by the marketplace. Linc works hard to address the homelessness crisis by building supportive, affordable and environmentally sustainable housing for California's diverse population.
