About the Natural Sea Sponge

Baudelaire sustainably sources these sea sponges from a fifth-generation, family-owned business in the Gulf of Mexico. As they are harvesting, the workers leave a piece of the sponge’s tissue behind to regenerate. All sponges go through an eco friendly cleaning process of trimming, sun heating, acid soaking and washing.
