About the Stoneware Basin Incense Dish

Los Angeles artisan Kelley Burnett shapes each dish by hand using stoneware clay, fires it in a high-fire reduction kiln, then sands until smooth. The quality of the clay and extreme heat of the kiln creates a durable item. You may notice slight irregularities in the texture, color and shape of your piece. These variances make it one of a kind and are part of the beauty of handmade items. Great care is taken to ensure these imperfections do not detract from the overall feel of the piece.
