I ordered these sheets after much research. Living in central Texas we needed sheets that would keep us cool in the summer but would also be comfortable year-round. We've had the sheets now for one month and I couldn't be happier. This month it was 88 degrees one day and 38 degrees another. We were cool and cozy both nights! Also and most importantly no pilling at all. I've washed them 4-5 times and they have gotten softer each washing. The only improvement I would suggest would be to move the opening slit in the back of the pillowcase to the side. The middle opening is difficult and while it looks nicer it is hard to get the pillowcase off and on when washing.
I LOVE this sleep shirt. So soft so comfy good length (not too short to lounge around in when I'm home with family for the holidays) and pretty true to size. I usually wear a 12 or Large in clothing and the Large in this was perfect. I got the Slate color which is lovely and I absolutely need all three colors.... and maybe the PJ set too... :)
I now own several parachute bedding items. I don't like using top sheets so I love that I can just cozy up with a quilt and buy only items that we will use. I bought the cotton/ linen quilt and we love it so I thought I would give the cloud quilt a try so we could have 2 blankets to use on our bed. How can you go wrong with the word Cloud. I really love how the cloud quilt gives warmth and super cozy without the weight. Also all the bedding we have purchased is so breathable thanks to the natural materials Parachute uses so I don't get hot anymore when I sleep. My oldest son has now asked for a cloud Quilt for Christmas!
I had purchased the white side pillow covers in white and the Cloud Soft Quilt in darker grey reversing to lighter grey. Thought I needed a pop of color in the center but nothing looked right. No other fabric or texture added charm. Once I placed the white European Sham in the center the bed came alive! So beautiful and warm and cuddly now that winter is upon us.Very icy colors emanating warmth.
I have worn these one night and so far I really like this PJ set. The material is VERY soft and comfy. I'm female 5'4 tall 140 pounds 34DD chest. I got small bottoms and a medium top. They fit great but I hope the top doesn't shrink. With a 34DD chest the medium is just barely big enough. My only very small complaint is that I wish it had short sleeves or 3/4 sleeves; the long sleeves make it difficult to prepare food while wearing these. They are plenty warm enough. Last night I was overly warm in these PJs under a down duvet. Overall I love these so far and will probably buy another set.
I must admit I was initially a bit hesitant about the price for the bedding HOWEVER I have gotten the best sleep potentially of my life in these sheets. They keep you warm without over heating and are always lovely and crisp when you climb in. These are definitely the best sheets I've ever bought. After I purchased a sheet set I went back and bought a pillowcase set. All worth it!!
Beautifully perfect. Pillow set is the real McCoy the crêpe de chine worth having. With TLC of gentle detergent and hand wash with a final rinse of a light sugar solution that serves to restore and preserve the natural strength of the fiber(silkworm) these pillow cases can outlast a life time. Happy to have found you.
Last year I treated myself to a couple medium fill pillows from Parachute. They were comfy at first but ultimately too soft for me to use without doubling up - but my partner doesn’t appreciate me stealing her pillow every night so something had to be done. I decided to get two more king pillows but this time I got the max fill. WHAT a difference. It’s the perfect amount of loft the perfect amount of sinking in. So dreamy I feel like I’m at a luxury boutique hotel every night. I recommend Parachute pillows and linens to anyone out there who cares about comfort.
Love the lightness of the duvet and the silky touch when I change the duvet cover. Got pillows percale sheet set and duvet cover too. The sheets are crisp soft and light - all you are looking for! Thank you Parachute for the outstanding quality you provide!!!
The duvet is a neutral color with subtle pattern and great texture. It’s more of a greigh color. Bummed there isn’t any corner anchors internally to hold the insert so it moves more than I’d like but we put it on a guest bed so only have to deal with it when making it between guests. Time will tell on the quality. I’ve been impressed with the customer service when we had an issue with towels in the past so I’m sure they’d help if something doesn’t last. Seems like it would hold up.
I have had my eye on this quilt for a long time and finally pulled the trigger on the blush color. I used to wake up so hot in the middle of the night but this is the perfect weight and I love the color. Would buy again and would recommend to anyone looking for a lighter weight blanket. OBSESSED!
I'm super excited to have this robe in my arsenal. It has the most perfect mixture of slight heaviness (perfectly weighted) + comfort that moves with your body.I'm 5 ft tall and *usually* a little under 100 pounds but being 8 months pregnant I love how it can wrap up my bump too ;). The texture; the style; the usefulness (pockets = must!) = 5 stars. I normally don't splurge like this on a robe but my sister said it's the BEST. She wasn't wrong!! Go out on a limb + cover your limbs with this amazing investment -- I'm gonna keep this one for 5 years at least :)
I loved my bed before the parachute sheets but now...I'm obsessed. I look forward to crawling back in between these gorgeous dreamy sheets every night. Every morning it breaks my heart to leave my bed because I'm so cozy and happy snuggled up in these sheets. I would recommend these to ANYONE. You will not be disappointed.
I think our furry baby has a more comfortable bed than we do. I’m not gonna lie.. I might have taken over it for a bit:) Teddy loves sleeping on his new bed and playing with his toys on it too! And it looks so good in our home. I’m super happy with our purchase!
For along time I have wanted to buy parachute bedding. I studied up went to similar stores in Seattle. But waited for my fall trip to P town. I went to the Portland store last month and was not disappointed in my shopping experience. In fact it was so much more than an online purchase. It filled me up and gave me more than I imagined or expected. And a gift to myself of planning another visit to Portland and a more parachute bedding. Wendy from Seattle
Love the blanket it adds a nice texture to our room. Bonus that it can be reversed gives us more options in how we fold it on the bed and what color we want to see more prominent. Would have rated a 5 but deducted one star because it does shed a little on my white duvet.
I love my percale sheets. They're really soft and light without being overly silky. I also like that the elastic is strong so the fitted sheet lays flat on my mattress. The only potential downside is that you're supposed to put them on the bed while they're fresh out the dryer or they wrinkle. I have a few sets and usually store them in between but smooth out after a day or two of sleeping in them. It doesn't bother me at all but if you don't like wrinkled sheets it could be a potential negative for you. I have both the side and back opening pillow cases. I like the side opening ones a little better because you can use both sides of them but either are great.
When I first received the brush (I’m not going to lie it smelled like a horse) BUT once I washed the brush hairs the smell came right out! I also want to mention that I’m glad in a way that it did have a smell to it because that’s how I knew it was the real deal and I wasn’t washing my body with plastic toxic fibers. It’s very soft on the skin and really great with delicate exfoliating.
I purchased a king duvet cover and 2 king shams. The linen is beautiful and a good weight. It has softened up nicely with washings. For my personal preference the extra fabric at the bottom closure that you tuck your duvet into is unnecessary because if you don't iron that portion it is bunches up at the bottom and is heavy. For me I would prefer the shams to not have the border because if you don't iron it (I don't) it's wrinkled and hard to notice.
My husband and I have different set points for bodily warmth and comfort so when choosing a duvet insert I looked for something to accommodate us both and chose this all season insert for that reason. We live in Michigan where the temperature fluctuates greatly throughout the year and began using this insert in late fall when the weather is transitional and deviates from warmer to cooler nightly quite a bit (30-50 degrees Fahrenheit). I like the weight of it but find that it is too warm during this season - I think it will be perfect for me during winter. My husband finds it comfortable in this temperature and will likely add an under blanket during the sub-zero temperatures common in December-February.
