Gin and Grapefruit Cocktail with Rosemary Syrup

The refreshing drink to beat the heat.

What's better than a refreshing cocktail on a hot summer day? We can't think of anything either! This June, we're taking our cocktail shaker to the pool to mix up a delightful Gin and Grapefruit drink with Rosemary Syrup. A little bit tart, a little bit herbaceous and a lot a bit delicious, this will be your go-to for warm nights on the patio or dinner parties with friends. Simple, fresh ingredients are the key to making this libation. Let's get started!

INGREDIENTS

1 ½ ounces of gin

2 ounces of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice

1 ounce rosemary syrup

For the syrup:

½ cup water

½ cup of honey

3 large rosemary sprigs

RECIPE PREPARATION

For the syrup:

Bring water and honey to a boil. Stir until honey is dissolved, and add in rosemary sprigs. Simmer gently for 15 minutes. Remove rosemary and let cool.

For the cocktail:

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Stir and pour into tall glass. Garnish with fresh rosemary sprig and grapefruit slice.
